S/Ldr Janusz Zurakowski. Mosty likely this piocture was taken in Northolt, when he was no longer commanding the unit. The aircraft is Spitifre IX version, which squadron became equipped with in March 1943. Notice the unit's logo painted behind hood canopy and a slippery tank installed.
