I

yds.
and
gave
a
short
burst,
after
which
the

dived
vertically
and
disappeared
in
the
clouds.
I
then
returned
to
the
Sqdn.
nad
found
myself
slightly
ahead
and
above
an
Me.
109
which
was
turning,
I
fired
a
short
burst
from
about
50
yds.
and
saw
my
bullets
strike
the
cockpit
and
fuselage,
and
pieces
fly
off.
This
Me.
then
disappeared
in
cloud,
and
I
was
unable
to
follow
it.
I
claim
this
machine
as
damaged.
